Good Morning! My name is Amber. I’m off to school bright and early. I attend the Pearl B. Larsen Elementary School on the beautiful big island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is customary for students like me in the Caribbean to wear school uniforms. My school uniform is a bright yellow, orange, gold and black plaid jumper with a yellow blouse. The plaid looks like the madras fabric, which is used in traditional West Indian clothes. Our school’s quadrille dancers have their outfits made of the same uniform plaid and they look fantastic! My hair is shades of amber like my name and my eyes are green. I’m very happy today because I have choir. My favorite songs are “Sly Mongoose” and “Queen Mary.” Gotta go!

Our lovely Amber doll is handmade in the US Virgin Islands and makes a great collectible keepsake. Each doll is unique and may vary slightly because each doll is handmade. A tag is attached to each doll with the name of the doll and school.

The doll’s body and clothes are made of cotton and polyester; Wool or chenille yarn are used for the doll’s hair. Our dolls are non-washable and clothes non-removable. Recommended for children above the age of 3.
